Our patio sits just off the Chief Ladiga Trail, a paved rail-trail that now runs nearly 40 miles from downtown Anniston to the Georgia state line where it meets the Silver Comet Trail.
The Pinhoti National Recreation Trail crosses nearby mountains and connects all the way to the Appalachian Trail. Many backpackers use Piedmont and Pinhoti Pizza as a resupply and celebration stop.
Terrapin Creek is a beloved local float with crystal water, fun shoals, and outfitters nearby. Finish your paddle and head to town for pizza, wings, or a cold drink on the patio.
